Commuters using the Delhi Noida Direct Flyway that connects Delhi and Noida will have to pay higher toll tax from midnight Friday as the Noida authority on Thursday allowed the operator to increase the toll by 9% to 37%.

Now, two-wheelers will have to pay Rs. 12, instead of Rs. 11, and cars Rs. 25, instead of Rs. 22.

Rates for other vehicle categories, such as light commercial, large, medium and extra-large vehicles have also been increased.

Local commuters plan to protest the toll hike.
