Seven killed in road accident in Greater Noida

Seven persons were killed and a two-year-old child injured when a car ran over three persons before crashing into a divider near a hotel in Greater Noida Friday night.

Six persons, including the two-year-old child, were returning from Noida in a Wagon R car at around 10.30pm when it hit three persons who were crossing the road near Radisson Blu hotel.

The car later rammed into the divider and overturned. The three pedestrians died on the spot.

The injured in the car were rushed to a private hospital and four of them were declared brought dead. They were identified as Faizal, Kuldeep, Mulayam and B Tyagi.

Noida: Wall adjoining school collapses, one dead

The incident took place in Sector 49 in Noida at 11:30am, after the boundry wall of an under-construction building collapsed. The children were said to be in the garden adjoing the wall, while the class was being held outside, when the incident took place.
