'Disruptive' passenger tries to bite Jet Airways cabin crew

A passenger tried to hit and bite a cabin crew member on a Jet Airways flight from Mumbai to London on Tuesday.

The airline confirmed the presence of the "disruptive" passenger on board and said the passenger had been handed over to authorities at London airport.

"Jet Airways confirms the presence of a disruptive guest on board 9W 120. Jet Airways' Crew  managed to contain the situation onboard the flight in a professional manner. On arrival at London, the local authorities took charge of the guest. At Jet Airways, safety of guests and crew  is of paramount importance and crew are trained to manage disruptive guests," a Jet spokesperson said.
