Police raid ex-DMK minister's lodge

Police on Saturday raided a lodge owned by former DMK minister Periasamy in connection with a land grab case registered against him.

Periyasamy, who is absconding, allegedly grabbed 19 acres of land owned by one Mugaideen Fathima, police said.

Police had on Friday also raided the house of Periyasamy, who is Tuticorin DMK secretary.

Police declined to give details about the seizure during the raid.
