State home minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan asked south zone additional DGP Shankar Reddy to conduct an investigation into the allegations that the crime branch had showed “undue haste” in making the arrests. “It seems some officials have shown haste in arresting them in cases registered years ago. I have asked the ADGP to conduct an inquiry and submit a report at the earliest,” the minister said.
