27-year-old axes mother to death in Nirsa village

Nirmal Bhandari, 27, of Daldali village in Kalubathan, Nirsa, about 35 km from Dhanbad district headquarters, axed his mother Jabrani Devi, 48, on Monday afternoon.

The reason behind the incident is said to be a family dispute. Soon after getting the information, Kalubathan outpost police, along with Nirsa police personnel, reached the spot and recovered the body of the middle-aged woman before sending the same for an autopsy.

While confirming the incident, Nirsa police station officer in-charge Karmpal Uraon said the police have started the probe and the efforts are on to nab the culprit.
The son has gone into hibernation after the killing his mother. Sources said the youth was in depression owing to the continuous quarrel in the family. As the youth came to know about the role of his mother whom, he felt responsible for all kinds of problems in his family, resolved to eliminate her.

Meanwhile, the police has registered a case in this connection and started investigation.
