State heading towards progress: Cong leader

Congress leader Gangu Ram Mussfair, who was recently appointed as the vice-chairman of the state planning board, received a warm welcome at Rajgarh on Saturday.

The Congress leader arrived in his native constituency after his appointment on the key post. On the occasion, Mussafir handed over the keys of 108 ambulance to the health department. Addressing public, Mussafir said modern health facilities, which were deprived during the previous regime of the BJP government, would be made available.

He said hospitals lacked specialists and modern health equipment. Mussafir added that under the leadership of chief minister Virbhadra Singh, the state was heading towards the newer heights of progress.

The Congress leader also congratulated former MLA Kanwar Ajay Bahadur Singh on his appointment as the chairman of Himfed on Saturday.
