He urged him to sanction Rs. 24.91 crore for improvement and strengthening of Hoshiapur (Bankhandi Punjab border) to Una (Jhalera) road under the central road fund.

Agnihotri apprised the union minister that chief minister Virbhadra Singh has taken up the matter regarding sanctioning of funds for the 15-km road which was important from economic point of view for residents. He said better road connectivity between these areas would further boost social and economic activities in the region leading to overall growth of the entire region.
