A speeding Maruti Alto rammed into a passenger vehicle carrying six persons, including two college students.  "The impact was so great that the vehicle (a Tata Magic) over- turned," said a police officer.

Neelam, a student of Chaudhary Amir Chand Inter College in Kasna, died on the spot, while the injured were rushed to the hospital, police said. The driver of the car fled from the spot.

Later, family members of the victims and locals blocked the road connecting Noida and Greater Noida in Kasna, demanding the arrest of the driver.
