Sukhu asks party workers to be prepared for LS elections

Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) chief Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Saturday asked party workers to start preparations for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. He was addressing party workers at Renuka, about 40 km away from here. He said that the party workers should reach out to people to solve their grievances. He also urged the party workers to work as a unified team to help achieve the desired results in the polls.

He said that there were many flagship programmes of the UPA government which the party workers should take to the masses. Interacting with Hindustan Times, Sukhu said a campaign had been launched to make party workers aware of the programme and policies fo the UPA and state government and he had already completed dight blocks under the campaign. On the occasion district Congress committee chief Ajay Solanki and CPS Vinay Kumar were also present.
