Kandhla police station officer Anuradha Singhal said devotees reported broken idols at a temple in Gharidolatpur village on Thursday and started a protest.

Sarvan Kumar, temple caretaker, filed a complaint with the police.
A case was registered and three were taken into custody for for interrogation. Search is on to nab the culprits, she said.
