Ticketless student jumps to death

Fearing checking by the flying squad of the Haryana roadways a 21-year-old man lost his life by jumping off a bus near Dehman village here on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Sunil, a student of Jat College in Hisar. Sunil was returning to his village from college on Monday evening. When the bus reached near Dehman village, some students sitting on the front seats raised the alarm that the flying squad of the roadways had arrived, following which Sunil, who had not purchased a ticket, jumped off the bus and died on the spot.

Hansraj Bishnoi, a police official, said, they were investigating the case. After the postmortem examination, the body was handed over to the family, he added.
