Tourist duo killed

A tractor crashed into a tourist bus on Mathura Road near Palwal in the wee hours of Wednesday, leaving two Gujarati tourists dead.

About half a dozen others were also injured.

The incident occurred around 1.30am on Wednesday, when the tourist bus reached Karman border on Mathura Road in Palwal. A tractor trolley hit the bus.

The dead were identified as Prakash Bhai, 35, and Paru 40, wife of Govind Bhai, of Palanpur in Banaskata in Gujarat. Others injured were identified as Praveen Bhai, Govind Bhai, Rakesh and Navi Ben.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. The bodies of the tourists were handed over to the family.
