Uncle exposes MNREGA irregularities, niece assaulted by goons

In a shocking case of violence against children, goons in Nokha in Bikaner district assaulted a four-year-old niece of a whistleblower to discourage him in his campaign against corruption.

The child was made to pay the price for her uncle's attempt to expose irregularities in MNREGA.

The goons hurled the four-year old against a wall because of which her nervous system was irreparably damaged and the child cannot walk, speak or recognise her parents now.
