"The Virbhadra Singh-led government has spent most of its time in rechristening schemes initiated by the previous BJP government in the name of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee," said BJP state general secretary Ram Swaroop Sharma.

Addressing mediapersons here at the Kullu circuit house, Sharma alleged that Virbhadra Singh had started the politics of vendetta.

"There are 36 schemes in the state in the names of former Prime Ministers Rajeev Ghandi and Indira Ghandi, but we did not change their name," he added.

He alleged that the cancellation of land lease of Baba Ram Dev in Solan was also politically motivated to please the UPA chairperson.

"Our main focus in son the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2014; the party will have a national-level meeting at Tal Katora in Delhi, in which 135 BJP workers from the state would participate," said Sharma.

Sharma said, "Winning the Mandi Lok Sabha byelection will be our prime challenge."
