from this temple town will take part in the Vishwa Hindu Parishad-sponsored two-day 'Dharam Sansad' in New Delhi beginning on Wednesday to protest the alleged move to demolish 'Ram Setu' in Tamil Nadu.
The saints and sadhus had already left for New Delhi to participate in the Sansad, VHP media in-charge Sharad Sharma said in the Capital on Tuesday.
Ram Janmabhoomi Trust president Mahant Nritya Gopal Das and other senior VHP leaders will also take part in it, he said.
The issue will be discussed at the Kendriya Margadarshark Mandal of VHP and if required, an agitation will also be launched, Sharma said.
Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janshakti Party president Uma Bharati said that she will embark on a week-long fast at Digambar Akhara in Ayodhya from Tuesday to press her demand for protecting the 'Ram Setu'.
Speaking to reporters in Lucknow before proceeding to Ayodhya, Bharati said her party workers had also started a 'padayatra' from Rameswaram to Ayodhya from Tuesday.
