Security forces recover 10 kgs of RDX in Ramban district of J&K, which they claim is brought to trigger blasts during the forthcoming Amarnath yatra.
Security forces on Thursday recovered 10 kgs of RDX in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir which they claimed was brought to trigger blasts during the forthcoming Amarnath yatra.
Acting on a tiff off that militants are planning to trigger blasts during Amarnath yatra and are planning to make Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in this direction, troops launched a search operation at Khari Bujla area in Banihal tehsil of the district, official sources said.

During search, the army recovered 10 kgs of RDX, iron nails, pins and some detonators wrapped in two bags near a tree, they said, adding the operation to track down militants is on.
