119 people crossed border

Over 100 people from Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir have crossed the border on Monday through the Chakan-da-Bagh point along the Line of Control in Poonch district.

Over 100 people from Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir have crossed the border on Monday through the Chakan-da-Bagh point along the Line of Control in Poonch district, officials said on Tuesday.

The Chakan-da-Bagh point was opened twice on Monday and 119 persons from PoK and Jammu travelled on Poonch-Rawalakote road to their respective destinations on Monday.

Of 119 persons, 73 persons including 20 Indians and 45 PoK dwellers travelled to PoK via LoC point, while 46 persons including 41 PoK nationals and five Indians travelled to the state from PoK, officials said.
