14 officers get selection grade, three denied

DEPARTMENTAL PROMOTION Committee (DPC) meeting to give selection grade to the IAS officers of 1994 batch was held on Friday at the Mantralaya. All the 14 officers of this batch have been promoted to the rank of additional secretary.

DEPARTMENTAL PROMOTION Committee (DPC) meeting to give selection grade to the IAS officers of 1994 batch was held on Friday at the Mantralaya. All the 14 officers of this batch have been promoted to the rank of additional secretary.

However three IAS officers were denied selection grade during the General Administration Department meet. They belong to the 1992 and 1993 batches.

According to sources, those denied promotion are Additional Commissioner, Rewa, V K Singh, Additional Commissioner, Tribal, Anju Singh Baghel and suspended officer Ramesh Thete.

Singh was denied promotion because his ACRs were not good enough, while Anju’s ACRs is yet to reach the GAD. Ramesh Thete is still under suspension.

Officers of 1994 batch who got selection grade are Sanjay Shukla, Vivek Agrawal, Rashmi Arun Shami, Hari Ranjan Rao, Manish Rastogi, Pallavi Jain Goyal, Dipali Rastogi, S S Shukla, Chandrahas Dubey, S K Paul, Arun Kochar, J N Malpani, D K Tiwari and Suraj Damor. As none of the officers have been shifted, all the promoted officers of 1994 batch would remain at their present postings.

In other DPC held today, three officers of 2003 batch of IAS were given Senior Scale. Narsingarh SDO Sanjay Goyal has been shifted to Khandwa as Chief Executive Officer (CEO); Shivpuri CEO Nishant Barwade would remain at the same post and Khurai CEO J P Patel has been shifted to Jhabua in the same capacity.
