A 17-year-old boy has alleged a Delhi Police officer committed sodomy against him near Kashmiri Gate in North Delhi on Thursday.
He also claimed the policeman snatched from him the Rs. 200 he had.
A medical examination has confirmed sodomy.
The victim works at a car window-tinting shop in the Mori Gate area. The incident happened after he left the shop at around 7:30 p.m.
"A policeman in uniform approached me at the bus stop. He said he suspected me of committing thefts in the area. He then took me to nearby Agrasen Park and ordered me to bring him alcohol," the victim said.
Police said the victim was then sodomised.
The boy went home and told his parents about the incident. His uncle informed the police.
"A case has been registered at the Kashmiri Gate Police Station. On Friday, he was taken to the area for identification of the accused, and some of the beat constables were also paraded in front of him, but so far nobody has been identified," said a senior police officer. A case of unnatural sex has been registered at the Kashmere Gate Police Station against unknown accused.
The boy also told police the accused was a constable. Police said that though there is medical evidence of sodomy, they are not entirely sure of the boy's allegations, as there are many contradictions in his statement.
