2 pedestrians killed after being hit by army ambulance

Two pedestrians, including a woman, were on Tuesaday killed and another injured when they were hit by an army ambulance near Mara Morh in Udhampur district, police have said. The deceased, identified as Anu Sharma of Udhampur and Ashok Chouhan of Bihar, were killed on the spot while a third pedestrian, Anil Anand from Jammu, has been admitted to hospital.

The deceased, identified as Anu Sharma of Udhampur and Ashok Chouhan of Bihar, were killed on the spot while a third pedestrian, Anil Anand from Jammu, has been admitted to hospital.

Meanwhile, in another incident, 10 people, eight of them women, were injured when their van skidded off a road and overturned near 4th bridge in Beli Charan belt. The injured have been admitted to GMC hospital, police have said.
