Two pedestrians were mowed down by speeding vehicles on Gurgaon-Delhi Expressway in the last 24 hours. The death toll on the expressway has gone up to 90 since it was formally opened in February 2008. Four motorcyclists were also injured on the expressway in the last 24 hours.

A speeding car hit a group of around seven pedestrians, all factory workers, at 8.30 am when they were trying to cross the stretch. One of them died on the spot while others escaped unhurt. The car sped away and no one could take down the registration number of the vehicle.

On Sunday night, a pedestrian was run over by a vehicle. The victim died on way to the hospital.

Five motorcyclists were also injured in three separate accidents on the expressway. Two accidents were reported on Rajokari Flyover ahead of Delhi-Gurgaon border toll plaza. One motorcyclist was injured at Sector 31 flyover.
