Atleast 25 passengers were injured when an engine being attached to the Chirmiri-Rewa train hit a bogie in Shahdol, official sources said.
Atleast 25 passengers were injured when an engine being attached to the Chirmiri-Rewa train hit a bogie in Shahdol, official sources said.
The incident took place at 10 pm on Thursday night at the Shahdol railway station when the engine driver failed to control the speed of the locomotive struck the bogie resulting in injuries to passengers, lying on the upper berths, who fell due to the jolt, they said.

The injured travellers were treated by the railway and government doctors at the station itself while five seriously injured passengers were admitted in the disrict hospital, the sources said.
Later, the train left for its onward journey at its scheduled time (11.15 pm).
