3,000 poultry birds stolen

A total of 3,000 birds were stolen from a poultry farm at ChajjuMajra village in Kharar.

The incident happened on February 1 late night. As per the information, about ten to 12 persons entered in the farm and beaten up two servants sleeping there and they tied them with rope. They all loaded the birds in a truck and ran away. According to Jaini Lal Jindal, owner of the farm, “ The farm is more than eight years old and on February 1 night, two servants, Sanjay and Amit were sleeping at the farm. Three men asked both of them to open the door and after the opening they tied up the servants after beating them. .’

The three then called up their other companions and loaded the truck with the birds. The both servants were tied up till the morning and in the morning they opened their ropes with difficulty and called up the owner. The owner reached immediately after the call and called up the police. The police have been investigating the case.
