At least three army jawans were injured, one of them seriously, in an explosion on Saturday at the Gorkha Rifles headquarters in Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun, officials said.
The critically injured has been shifted to the military hospital, sources said.
While army officials were tightlipped about the explosion, sources said it took place at around 1:30pm on a truck parked inside the cantonment area in the Ghanghora locality.
CNN-IBN put the number of injured at four.
The truck was about to leave for bringing in supplies from a local vegetable market, the sources added.
TV reports quoting unnamed army officials said it was “not an act of terrorism”.
