A joint team of Central police and Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) on Wednesday claimed to have cracked a kidnapping case with the arrest of three persons, including two drivers from Jaipur. The arrested youth, the police said had murdered their employer and thrown his body in the Aravali hills area.
Udai Pratap, 38, a resident of Mainpuri in Uttar Pradesh, lived in Faridabad for the last 16 years. He was in the business of transporting building material with his two tractors.
Pratap and his two drivers went missing under mysterious circumstances on October 26. His wife lodged a complaint with the Central police station. As all the three mobile phones were switched off, the police registered a case of kidnapping on October 28.
The joint team of Central police and CIA Sector 48 swung into action and cracked the case with the arrest of three persons, including the two drivers from Jaipur on Wednesday.
The cops claimed to have recovered the body of Pratap from Aravalli hills in Pali area and also recovered an axe, used for the killing.
