Three students, including an Amity University student, have gone missing under mysterious circumstances over the last three days.

Rohit Kumar, a B. Tech second year student from Amity, returned to Noida from his native Aligarh on Sunday. Since then, he has been untraceable and a missing person report has been lodged.

Police have included a kidnapping section into the report, as Rohit’s family members suspect he may have been abducted, Deputy Superintendent of Police R.N. Mishra said.

Rishi Bhardwaj, a Class 10 student of MSD School, has also been reported missing since appearing for his board exam on Tuesday.

The boy’s father was informed his son had left the exam centre half-an-hour earlier than the scheduled time, but when he failed to return till late evening, a report was filed.

A missing person report has also been filed for 21-year-old Rahul Kumar, a student of MMG Degree College, who has been missing since Tuesday. “Missing person reports have been lodged... and investigation has started,” SP A.K. Tripathi said.
