Three criminals were arrested from Rajasthan on Thursday evening, a few hours after they lifted three vehicles from Faridabad and Gurgaon.

“We recovered two cars and a tractor from their possession,” said AK Rao, joint commissioner of police, Faridabad.

He added that the Bolero car, the criminals were riding, was stolen from Gurgaon last night, whereas Xylo car was lifted from Sarai Kwaja area in Faridabad. Besides, a tractor was also looted from Bypass Road area in Faridabad in the wee hours of Thursday.

The police took action after Faridabad control room received a call from one Arjun Verma that his Xylo car has been looted by some people near Sarai Kwaja area. “We constituted different teams immediately after we came to know about the incident,” said Rao.

“Cops rushed in different directions and finally got clue near Punhana area in district Nuh,” Rao said, adding, “They finally traced the vehicle lifters at Daulabas under Kama police station in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan.”

The accused have been identified as Rashid of Bharatpur, Sahul of Fatehpur in Rajasthan and Jamal-u-din of Khiluka village in district Palwal, Haryana.
