Muslim devouts presented a record 354-metre multi-colour 'chadar' on the third and last day of the 351st Urs of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan here.

Hundreds joined the procession holding the "Hindustani Saptarangi Chadar", accompanied by music. Qawwalis, popularised by Sufis, were sung till Wednesday evening.

The whole of Wednesday huge crowds saw for free the Taj Mahal, the majestic monument built in the 17th century by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, in line with a decision taken by the Archaeological Survey of India.
