Four alleged Bangladeshi infiltrators were arrested in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur district, police said on Saturday.
"The infiltrators, who are under interrogation, have admitted that they illegally entered India through the West Bengal border," deputy superintendent of police Ram Singh told IANS over phone.
The four youths were arrested late Friday night from the Kameli colony in Saharanpur, about 400 km from in Lucknow. Ram Singh said they gave money to some touts, who helped them cross the border. Also, they were promised jobs in India.
