At least four people were injured when a small homemade bomb exploded in northern India Tuesday, police said.
Additional general of police Brij Lal told AFP in Lucknow city, capital of northern Uttar Pradesh state, that the bomb went off in a liquor shop in the state's industrial district of Kanpur.
Several Indian cities have been hit by bombings since May.
At least five people were killed and 80 injured in two bomb attacks in western India last month.
In September, the national capital New Delhi was hit by a wave of bomb attacks in which more than 20 people were killed.
