4 live bombs found in Ahmedabad

Four country-made live bombs were today found by Gujarat police in Karanj area in Ahmedabad, police sources said.

"We have recovered four live bombs which are being defused," a police official of Karanj area told PTI.

He added that the police had received a call by a person who claimed to have spotted a "bomb-like material" in a container opposite General Post Office (GPO).

"On inspection, we spotted four bombs and the Bomb Disposal Squad was rushed to the spot to defuse them," he added.
