About 40 kg of explosives and arms and ammunition were recovered by security forces after a raid in terrorist hideout in Doda district, police said on Wednesday.
The seizure was made from a hideout in Dhraman Nullah area on Tuesday night during a joint raid by Army and state police, Senior Superintendent of Police (Doda) Manohar Singh said.
The recoveries included 40 kgs of explosive, three AK rifles, eight UBGL grenades, one anti-personnel mine, one IED, three detonators and a 12 bore gun, he said.
Some documents were also recovered from the spot, he said adding no arrests have been in this connection so far.
In a separate incident in Ralimandu area of Ramban district, Army busted a militant hideout and recovered eight UBGL grenades on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, one Barkat Ali was caught by security forces with one RPG shell and one AK silencer in Dharnund area of Ramban district last night.
Ali was handed over to police for further investigation.
