It's not only teenagers and young adults who are hooked on to internet dating, as a 48 year-old London woman broke her 26 year-long marriage and left her 20 kids for a man whom she me on the World Wide Web.
Nicola Pridham packed her bags and walked out when hubby Kevin came to know about her the six-month affair with a married soldier.
His suspicions were aroused when he found a Valentine card from “Ginger”, which was her boyfriend's chat name, hidden under their bedroom carpet.
"I can't believe it. I am devastated," the Sun quoted her husband, as saying.
He confronted Nicola and was shocked when she admitted a string of secret trysts with her married lover aged 38.
“She even told how he could manage it 11 times a night. After 26 years of marriage I just didn't want to believe it. It's a nightmare”, he said.
Kevin watched as his wife lost 5st on a crash diet and changed her hairstyle. He said: “She started dressing like a teenager.”
Kevin further revealed that Nicola had begun spending nights away from their eight-bed council house, telling him she needed “space”, and also that he was left horrified when he found used train tickets inside the Valentine card to places where she and her lover had romped in hotels.
He also discovered Nicola had secretly bought herself a second mobile phone and run up a 680 pounds bill in three months, which was full with raunchy text messages.
Nicola was dubbed “Britain's Supermum” when she hit the headlines after having a baby every year consecutively for 20 years.
