5 killed, 11 injured in road accidents in Rajasthan

Five persons, including two women, were killed and eleven others injured in two separate road accidents in Rajasthan, police said.

Five persons, including two women, were killed and eleven others injured in two separate road accidents on Saturday in Rajasthan, police said.

Three persons, including two women, were killed and eight others injured when a Bolero jeep they were travelling in collided with a truck near Badgav road under Kunadi police station in Kota district, they said.

All the injured persons, who were coming to Gurudwara from Keshraipatan, were taken to MBS hospital at Kota, they said, adding their conditions were stable.

The truck driver fled the spot after the incident.

In another accident, two persons were killed and three others injured when the car they were travelling in rammed into a truck near Saradhana village in Ajmer district.

The victims were identified as Shekhar (25) and Saurabh (24).

Two injured persons were admitted to a government hospital at Bewar and one in JLN hospital at Ajmer, police added.
