50 injured in Mumbai cylinder blast

At least 50 people were injured when an LPG cylinder exploded at Antop Hill in central Mumbai, police said.

At least 50 people were injured when an LPG cylinder exploded at Antop Hill in central Mumbai on Friday, police said.

The injured, residents of Shiv Nagar chawl where the incident took place, were rushed to Sion hospital, where the condition of some of them is reported to be serious, they said.

Police and fire brigade personnel have rushed to the spot and the fire has been controlled, they added.
