6 IAS officers transferred

THE STATE Government today transferred about half a dozen principal secretaries and also posted the officers who returned to their parent cadre after completing deputation or study leave.

Another list of IAS officers including collectors is likely to be released on Thursday. As expected, Principal Secretary, School Education, Anshu Vaish, who was not getting well along Minister, Narottam Mishra, has been shifted to Rural Industry department in the same capacity. She will replace I M Chahal who has been shifted to Medical Education department as Principal Secretary.

It is learnt that the minister was annoyed because the officer allegedly kept him in the dark on some important issues of the department. Mishra had expressed his displeasure over this in a recent Cabinet meeting.

Commissioner, Jabalpur, I S Dani has been transferred to Bhopal and appointed as Principal Secretary, School Education; Secretary, PHE, Rakesh Agrawal has been shifted to NVDA as Member, Rehabilitation; Commissioner, Madhya Pradesh Housing Board, J S Mathur has been appointed as Secretary ,Tribal Welfare and Secretary, Finance, Anil Shrivastava has been shifted to Jabalpur as Commissioner.

After returning from deputation, 1984 batch IAS officer, P C Meena has been appointed as Secretary, PHE and Member (Rehabilitation) NVDA Vinod Semwal has been appointed as Inspector General, Registration.

Similarly, Shailendra Singh who returned recently after completing his study leave, has been appointed as Commissioner, Land Records. Commissioner Health, Ashok Vernwal has been appointed as Commissioner, Institutional Finance.

The posts of Commissioner MPHB and Commissioner, Health have not been filled. With these transfers some officers like G P Singhal, M M Upadhyay, Praven Garg and Komal Singh have been relieved of additional charge of IG Registration, PS, Medical Education, Commissioner Institutional Finance and Commissioner Land Records respectively.
