7 injured in crude bomb attack in Orissa

At least seven persons were injured, four of them critically, when crude bombs werw hurled at a pan shop near Cuttack tonight.

Shopowner Budhia Pradhan and six others were injured when three unidentified motorcycle-borne youths hurled several bombs towards the shop at Choudar and escaped, police said.

While Budhia and three others were shifted to SCB Medical College Hospital with serious injury, three others were treated at a nearby hospital, police said.

Police said the incident could be the fallout of rivalry between two factions over financial matters.
