A day out for underprivileged kids to paint their thoughts
Purodha, an organisation that has always worked towards goal of literacy & equal opportunities to all, took another step to achieve its goal by organising a drawing competition at Village-Arthala Ghaziabad for underprivileged kids.
Purodha, an organisation that has always worked towards goal of literacy & equal opportunities to all, took another step to achieve its goal by organising a drawing competition at Village-Arthala Ghaziabad for underprivileged kids.
Organised by Purodha, the drawing competition was held at Primary Pathshala, Arthala in Ghaziabad on 11th March. Students from Claa I to VII participated in the competition and painted their ideas on canvas on various topics ranging from environment, terrorism to festivals and schools.
All 225 underprivileged kids who participated in the competition were given colours and fruits to cheer them up.
Purodha is an NGO that believes that every child is special and to achieve his growth and dreams in a healthy surrounding and is working to ensure that everyone has access to education, health and social protection; people are able to overcome poverty by earning a decent livelihood with fair trade opportunities.
Purodha promotes and catalyses universal education among underprivileged children, create the process to embrace these children into mainstream in a sustained manner, facilitate them to emerge as productive assets, and set the foundation for nation building.
