South Africa has become the hottest destination for travellers this summer. With Bollywood and cricket heading to the land of safaris, travel agents say they get 10 to 15 queries for holiday packages everyday. Catering to this, increase agencies are now offering special packages for IPL.
Go Travel 4 Less has an IPL Cape Town package for 10 days that costs close to Rs 70,000. The package covers Cape Town, Garden Route, Johannesburg, Sun City and also match tickets.
International travel agency, SOTC, has packages starting from Rs 60,000 onwards. Packages are tailormade according to different IPL matches and include match tickets as well. Though Thomas Cook has not come out with its IPL packages yet, it has tentative packages starting from Rs 50,000. Whether match tickets are inclusive is yet to be finalised.
Cox and Kings too has similar packages and will provide guests transport to the stadium on the day of the matches.
