-How can I visit Munnar from Indore? Which are the nearby places that I can visit? Which are the best hotels for honeymooners? I am looking for hotels with great en-suite facility in the rooms. The location should be beautiful. What are the taxi fares from Kochi?

Sonu

There are no direct flights from Indore to Kochi. You can take a flight to Mumbai, and take a connecting flight to Kochi. By train, you have to travel to Mumbai and catch a train to Aluva, the nearest station to Munnar. Take a cab from Cochin airport or Aluva station, and you can reach Munnar in three hours.

There are a few good hotels in the market area. But if you enjoy nature, travel 12km further, to the Club Mahindra and Sterling resorts. Stay there for two nights and proceed to Thekkady, which is around 100km from Munnar. Then, visit Alleppey and Trivandrum for a beach holiday. Fly back to Indore from Trivandrum.

You need at least seven days to cover all these places, so hiring a car is the best option. They charge about R1200 a day for an AC Indica.

-We are a group planning to travel to Shabarimala from Bangalore next month. We are planning to cover Rameshwaram and Kanyakumari, too. Please help us plan such that we can cover all the four places in four-five days.
