At a time when the concept of themed restaurants are really picking up in the city, this cozy li’l cafe, splashed with all things biking, seems quite welcoming. Tucked in the busy M Block market, GK I, this two-storey joint that serves continental and Lebanese cuisine apart from some really filling fast food, is an ode to passionate bikers, or so claim its owner, Siddharth Patel, a young, enthusiastic avid biker himself.

Right from the decor to its name, Revv Cafe promises loads of action from the moment you enter. The installations that include an entire wall made of rear view mirrors, vintage bikes and hanging tyres shelves are interesting, the most innovative of them being a striking chandelier made of bike lights. While the first floor is a tad family-friendly in it’s look and feel, the second floor is more biker friendly with Bob Marleys and Led Zeppelins being belted out in full blast. So, whether a biker or not, you would enjoy the ambience if you are planning a dine-out with your gang of friends.

It’s also good to see that not just the themed decor but a lot of thought has gone into creating the menu as well. If you are hungry, you could go for their very-filling tenderloin burgers, crepes, ravioli and risottos, or try the salads if you only want to nibble. The signature cocktails — The Open Road, Revver, Cold smoke, The Exhaust and Wild Ride — all named after biking action terms, are worth a try too. Meal for two is a reasonable Rs 1,500. While food options are plenty, the only drawback is the slow service. Nevertheless, the fun ambience and wide music selection compensates for it all.
