He pleaded that he be given custody of his brother if doctors at JJ Hospital find Faisal mentally ill. The medical report, which arrived late afternoon, read: “Faisal Khan is suffering from schizo-affective-psychosis impartial remission”.
Aamir argued that since he had taken care of his brother in the past, he be given his custody. He said his father, Tahir Hussain Khan, was not in a financial condition to take care of Faisal’s medical and other expenses.
Faisal’s mother had filed a missing complaint after he went missing in October. Faisal, who was traced to Lonavala, alleged that Aamir had illegally confined him. His father has asked the court for his custody.
Tahir, Aamir said, owed him Rs 25 lakh, the Hinduja Group Rs 2 crore, Allu Entertainment Rs 22 lakh, credit cards Rs 1.75 lakh and Aamir’s mother Zeenat Rs 15 lakh.
Faisal’s lawyers SA Vasid said: “Faisal wants to go to his father or stay in the hospital, but not go with Aamir. He fears Aamir might kill him by giving him the wrong medicines.”
Tahir’s advocate US Vanjara said: “Had Tahir been a pauper, would his son not be allowed to stay with him? The disease the report talks about is not serious.”
