Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal is set to take on BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi in his own home turf with his four day visit to Gujarat. The former Delhi CM will visit several places to take a first-hand view of the “development claims” of Modi.
“One of the places he will likely to visit is Kutch where local farmers and fishermen have been fighting against Adani group, which owns a huge port, an SEZ and a giant power plant,” a leader with AAP said.
“In Delhi, he cornered the UPA by raising the gas price issue and how Ambani was running the government. Similarly in Gujarat, he will expose the nexus between Modi and Adani,” he added.
Modi–Adani proximity has been on the radar of AAP leaders. Yogendra Yadav had tweeted: “What is the exact relationship between Modi and Adani group?”
Yadav also said, “Government land has been given away to Adanis at throw-away prices. But when the Indian Air Force and a war widow seek land, they are quoted market price.”
Kejriwal will address rally in Ahmedabad on April 8th after touring the state.
