Actor Shiney Ahuja had first misbehaved with his 18-year-old maid at his Oshiwara house on June 13, stated the application filed by the police before the Andheri metropolitan magistrate’s court on Monday.
The Oshiwara police sought custody of the 35-year-old actor to conduct investigations into the rape charge against him.
The court sent him to police custody till June 18.
The application stated that Ahuja had first misbehaved with his teenaged maid on June 13, when she had climbed a ladder to open a tap.
“Ahuja had held the victim’s leg to which she had told him ‘Don’t touch me. I can do it myself and I don’t like this’,” the application stated.
Quoting the complainant, the application added that then on Sunday, when the victim came to work at 3 pm, Ahuja called her in the bedroom.
In her complaint, the girl claimed that she entered the room thinking he wanted water.
But Ahuja closed the bedroom door, she alleged.
When she asked him why he was closing the door, Ahuja told her “Baju mein baitho” (Sit beside me), the application stated.
“He then pulled her on the bed, held her head with one hand and both legs with the other,” the application added. “When the girl tried to raise an alarm, he reportedly threatened her: ‘Jyaada chillayegi to maar doonga’ (I will kill you if you will shout) and raped her.”
Later, when the victim’s aunt (who works as a maid in the same area) came to Ahuja’s place, the traumatised girl narrated the incident to her.
Subsequently, a complaint was registered with the Oshiwara police.
