ADGP gets 'shantidoot' award

Haryana-cadre IPS officer AK Dhul has been conferred with 'shantidoot' (ambassador of peace) award by the World Peace Movement Trust, an official release stated on Friday.
Haryana-cadre IPS officer AK Dhul has been conferred with 'shantidoot' (ambassador of peace) award by the World Peace Movement Trust, an official release stated on Friday.
He was presented with the award by Ela Gandhi, Padma Bhushan awardee and granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi, and Subhash Kashyap, former secretary general of Lok Sabha, at Pilani, Rajasthan. Nearly 400 delegates from 40 countries participated in the award function and attended seminar on non-violence and peace movement.

Dhul is the additional director general of police (ADGP), criminal investigation department (CID).
