Advani has a busy schedule

THE LEADER of Opposition in Lok Sabha, L K Advani, and senior BJP leader Dr M M Joshi would address an anti-terrorism rally at Roshanpura here tomorrow afternoon. They would attend several programmes during their one-day visit to the State capital.

According to a BJP release, Advani would land at the airport by a special plane at 11 am. He would drive to the VIP Guest House and from there to the CM House.

At the CM House he would dedicate to public a documentary based on tribals life named “Naye Dwar” at 12 noon. The documentary has been produced by Tribal Welfare Department’s Vanya Prakashan to be telecast by Doordarshan Bhopal every Monday at 7.30 pm from July 17. The Minister for Tribals Welfare Vijay Shah would also be present on the occasion.

Advani would address the rally at 1 pm. At 2.30 he would attend Padmashri Vishnu Shreedhar Vakankar Samman Samaroh as the chief guest at State Archaeology Museum. At 4 pm he would attend Hindi daily Swadesh’s silver jubilee function at Ravindra Bhavan before flying back to Delhi at 6 pm.

Dr M M Joshi would reach the State capital by Pushpak Express at 6 am. He would stay at the VIP Guest House. After addressing the rally he would attend the programmes at the museum and Ravindra Bhavan. He would leave for Delhi at the night by Bilaspur Rajdhani Express.

Vanya Prakashan’s Shriam Tiwari said the documentary on tribals life would cover the tribals life-style, tradition, culture, literature, faith, myths, music, dance, attire, government’ schemes for their development etc.

Meanwhile, the BJP district unit held a meeting this morning in connection with the public rally. District BJP president Surendra Nath Singh told the workers that meetings were being held at mandal- and ward-levels to make the Roshanpura rally a grand success.

Those who attended the meeting included Ramdayal Prajapti, Ashok Pandey, Madanlal Ranjhi, Ravindra Awasthi, Asharam Sharma, Prakash Meerchandani, Alok Sharma, Shyam Mohan Shrivastava, Alok Sanjar, Vinay Gupta and others. The BJP doctors cell also held a meeting in this connection at the State BJP office.

Dr Hitesh Bajpai and Dr Sunil Rai exhorted the members to make the rally a big success. Those who attended the meeting included Dr K K Khare, Dr Arun Batra, Dr Rajesh Ratnakar, Dr Gajanand Rai, Dr Akshat Shrivastava, Dr Mukesh Sharma and Dr Umesh Kurele.
