Leader of Opposition LK Advani on Saturday visited Congress President Sonia Gandhi's residence and greeted her on Holi.
Advani, the BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate, visited Gandhi's official residence at 10 Janpath and also presented a copy of his memoirs My country my life to her.
He stayed at Gandhi's residence for about 15-20 minutes, party sources said. This is for the first time in several years that Advani has met Gandhi at her residence. Earlier, several central and state Congress leaders gathered at Gandhi's residence to extend their wishes to the party president. Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil and Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit were among first to greet her.
