After LESA does it, others to follow suit
THE LUCKNOW Electricity Supply Authority (LESA) has become the first civic agency to adopt the Smart City project. The LESA customers will be able to deposit their bills at 27 e-suvidha centres.
THE LUCKNOW Electricity Supply Authority (LESA) has become the first civic agency to adopt the Smart City project. The LESA customers will be able to deposit their bills at 27 e-suvidha centres.
The Lucknow Municipal Corporation will hand over the work regarding the collection of house tax to the same agencies under the smart city programme. The work of BSNL, Jal Sansthan, RTO and UPSRTC will also be handed over to these agencies.
The centres are located at Kaporthala, Hussainganj Behind Hindalco’ residency Near Daliganj, Hanuman Setu, Aminabad, UPIL opposite DAV College Aishbagh, Medical College, DC Plant Chowk, Aishbagh Power House near Jal Sansthan, Rajajipuram C Block, Chandan Nagar, New Alamabagh Near Canal, Ashiana Colony, Indralok Substation, Nirala Nagar, shingar Nagar, Mahanagar , Subhash marg, Purania, Daliganj, Vikas Nagar, Engineering College Sitapur Road, Sector 25 IndiraNagar, Sector 14 Indira Nagar, HAL Faizabad Road, Vibhuti Khand, Vishwas Khand and New Cantt near Chappan Bhog.
General manager LESA AK Singh said that the MoU between the company and LESA has been signed and customers would get the benefit of smart city e-suvidha from August 8.
The company will be given Rs 5.35 on the collection of each bill but no extra charges would be levied. There will be a saperate counter for the senior citizens and the physically challenged. The company will also provide the customer with help desk facility and Interactive Voice Response Services (IVRS).
