After Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is now seeking to strengthen its presence in Haryana and the party will hold a massive public rally in the state under the leadership of its chief Arvind Kejriwal within the next two months.
AAP Uttam Nagar MLA from Delhi and Haryana party in-charge Naresh Balyan on Saturday said the party will test its fortunes in the next assembly elections and work to build a strong team has already begun.
AAP will hold a massive public rally in Haryana under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal within the next two months.
Meanwhile, work to augment our presence in the state has started, Balyan told reporters after holding a state meet of the party here.
“We have appointed Haryana Lok Sabha presidents of 16 districts, research teams in-charge, legal cell in-charge, state spokesperson and formed grievance cell and disciplinary action committee,” he said.
“We will review the performance of these teams within three months, and changes will be done if needed,” he added.
The workers also discussed the future role of the AAP district unit and party expansion within every district of Haryana.
Balyan also hit out at the ML Khattar-led Haryana government alleging that the BJP has not even completed 16 schemes out of 260 of them, within the tenure of one-and-a-half year here.
“Within less than a year of being in power, Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government has done development works which directly concern the common man,” Balyan claimed.
